Christopher brings over 25 years of executive experience in media, technology and web marketing. Christopher has held key positions with companies in Canada and the United States. Notable positions include CEO of Chalk Media Corporation, which produced network television and lifestyle shows, in-flight programming, online learning and marketing solutions for global technology brands and Director of Business Development for Blast Radius, the premier provider of web marketing for brands such as Nike, Nintendo, BMW and Air Canada. Early in his career, Christopher founded Vancouver Online Inc., a pioneering online community for destination-based web portals and local shopping. Christopher has been a guest university lecturer and is a sought-after speaker for his expertise in marketing and technology.
Director of Finance & Administration
Phillip is a certified accountant with more than 30 years of extensive experience in administration, audit, finance and management accounting. His outstanding career covers a number of different industries with multi-national companies, namely the Hunter Douglas Group, Petronas Oil & Gas, Businessworld, Galeries Lafayette. His focus was within the region of South East Asia in Singapore, Malaysia, HongKong, and Indonesia. Phillip worked in those countries for more than 15 years before immigrating to Canada with his wife and 2 boys.
Director of Technology & Process
Murray brings 40 years of experience in electronics product development, beginning in 1982 with instrumentation projects for BCHydro’s Revelstoke dam. Over the years, he developed expertise in embedded systems hardware and firmware with Faraday National Corporation, Alpha Technologies, American Power Conversion, International Game Technology, Cardiac Science, 3M, Philips Lighting, Cadex Electronics, and most recently Delta Controls, where he designed firmware and hardware for Building Automation Systems. At Delta Controls, Murray experienced the joys and efficiencies of Agile project management, and brings the best of those processes to SST Wireless. Murray earned degrees in Engineering Science and Mathematics from Monroe Community College, Rochester NY, and has attended the Computer Engineering program at RIT, and the Engineering Physics program at UBC.
Rick holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and spent his professional career in the industrial automation and process control sectors, primarily focused on hardware. First with a large industrial controls company (Rockwell Automation), then as founder of a startup (Christensen Display Products) in same space which notched a successful exit (Pepperl-Fuchs). For past 8 years he has been an active angel investor and member of the Alliance of Angels in Seattle and brings experience with hardware device manufacturing, agency certifications, channel marketing, overall industrial market knowledge, and exit/acquisition logistics.
Mr. Park co-founded RCI Capital Group in 1996 and over the past 17 years has expanded the company beyond asset management into fund management, private equity and M&A advisory. He has led over $5 billion in cross border transactions since 2009 primarily in Canada’s energy and resource sectors. Along the way RCI has expanded operations into multiple Asia-Pacific countries, including the United States, South Korea, China, and India. Before RCI, Mr. Park served as a research analyst and an investment advisor at two different investment dealers in Vancouver. He is a business graduate from the University of Calgary and the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School in 2002.
Stephen is a seasoned Digital Industry professional with over 20 years of software architecture, design, and implementation experience. Advisor to industrial enterprises and CTO of Momenta Ventures portfolio of early stage startups. Stephen has extensive experience in the latest IIoT cloud architecture, design, development, and operations. Prior to Momenta, Stephen was the Chief Architect for Schneider Electric’s IoT platform technologies team where he drove the technical platform strategy alongside global business units to support their connected products and services. His prior experience includes over 7 years as technical Program Manager for the Microsoft Windows Core OS team where he advanced data center power management, drove battery life improvements, and defined the connected standby experience.
